Educated at University of California, Berkeley, Joseph Homer has been spending his time doing community work in the Central Valley of California, where he was born.
He has worked with the homeless, migrant laborers, elderly and disabled folks, in addition to undocumented individuals.
He continues to do social work for Stanislaus County and spends his free time playing music, exercising, writing, cooking vegan food, participating in socialist activities, and volunteering with different nonprofit organizations. He keeps planning to attend grad school (fifth time is the charm?)
