Crisis Mode

Something that’s surprised a little about this whole event is how stressful it is to deal with the vicissitudes of someone’s health. As the family, we can only directly support by being present, praying and etc. We are unable to actively intervene in her health outcome at this time, and for good reason. But the low-level stress of the unknown is fatiguing. Being unsure about what the next day brings, not exactly feeling secure about someone’s future. In a sense, it’s an extended and ongoing crisis mode.
