Absence, Presence

Want and Need
In capitalism, we are always encouraged to follow, inexorably, our wants, and this is fine and well (although interestingly relatable to the problem associated with the pursuit of infinite profit) but the trouble is that following our wants leads both to neglecting need in general and the need of so many in particular, and also, if we cannot express either, in dollar terms, then we may well not have wants or needs at all (and go live under a bridge somewhere)
